Who is your Hometown Massage Therapists?
"It all began on a fateful December day, when a Licensed Massage Therapist was born…"
Too dramatic? I thought so. 😄
Hello, my name is Heather Tribu-Thomas. I’m from a small town in Michigan called Armada, and now life has come full circle as I’ve returned—this time, with my own business in Memphis, just ten minutes away!
I started my career in health and wellness as a Physical Therapist Assistant before deciding to pivot into Massage Therapy. I trained at the Lakewood School of Therapeutic Massage and continued my education in Oncology and Hospital Massage at Corewell Health (formerly Beaumont).
When I’m not working, you can usually find me wandering around town with my daughter, Bubs. I love to laugh and listen, but above all, I’m passionate about helping others on their journey to wellness. Whether you call a town, city, or even a van down by the river “home,” I’m grateful to now be your Hometown Massage Therapist—proudly serving you from my very own building in Memphis and supporting the surrounding areas!
Meet Ginger
Greetings! I’m Virginia—though most people call me Ginny or Ginger. I am a Licensed Massage Therapist and a Reiki Master, and I’ve been drawn to alternative health and healing for most of my life. Growing up in this community, I’m excited to share my skills and knowledge here at Hometown Massage Therapy.
I am passionate about healing and holistic care. What I love most about massage therapy is the wide range of benefits it offers—because massage truly is for every body. My approach combines the restorative flow of Reiki with therapeutic massage techniques. While I love creating deeply relaxing sessions, I also provide firmer pressure when needed, making my work supportive for both relaxation and pain relief.
At the heart of every session is my commitment to offer the very best my hands—and my heart—can provide.
Meet Tina
Hello! I’m Tina, a Licensed Massage Therapist with over 20 years of experience helping clients find relief, balance, and renewal. My passion for massage therapy began in the late 1990s after a chance encounter in San Francisco sparked my curiosity about the power of touch to relieve pain and support healing. I graduated from the Flint School of Therapeutic Massage in 2002, and ever since, I’ve dedicated my career to helping people through the art of massage.
Throughout the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work in spas, chiropractic offices, and independent practices, meeting clients from all walks of life. One of my most memorable experiences was providing backstage massage at venues like the Palace, Ford Field, and Cobo Arena for touring artists and crews—a wonderful blending of my background in music with my love for healing work.
My style is adaptable and grounded. Whether you’re looking for focused relief or simply need space to relax, I aim to create sessions that meet you where you are. What I love most about this career is the opportunity to connect with people and watch the way massage can make an immediate difference in how someone feels—body, mind, and spirit.
